Management of Neighborhood Participation is responsible for facilitating collaboration between local government and neighbors through the organization, supervision and promotion of activities that encourage citizen participation.
Among its functions is the coordination of spaces for dialogue and agreement between institutions and the community, the organization of elections of delegates of the district boards, and the supervision of the fulfillment of agreements.
It is also responsible for the administrative resolution of conflicts between neighbors, the recognition and registration of social organizations, and the issuance of administrative acts in its area of competence. According to the functions established in the Regulation of Organization and Functions (ROF) of the District Municipality of Stone Bridge.

Encourage the active participation of neighbors: Develop and promote activities that encourage citizen participation in decision making and management of the municipality.
Strengthen communication channels: Establish and maintain effective spaces for dialogue between the municipality, institutions and the community, ensuring clear and open communication.
Ensure transparency in management: Oversee compliance with agreements and the correct implementation of decisions, promoting transparency in all processes.
Promote dialogue for the resolution of neighborhood conflicts: Establish efficient mechanisms to mediate and resolve conflicts between neighbors in a fair and equitable manner.
Support local social organization: Recognize, register and strengthen neighborhood and social organizations, encouraging their active participation in district management.
Develop a culture of collaboration between neighbors and government: Promote a relationship of trust and cooperation between local government and neighbors, ensuring that the needs and proposals of the community are heard and addressed.
