Health Management
The Health Management is the line organ responsible for directing, planning, organizing, supervising, developing and evaluating health services and the municipal cemetery. In addition to the promotion and prevention of zoonosis and responsible pet ownership, it manages primary health care, carries out preventive medicine campaigns, first aid, health education and local prophylaxis.
According to the functions established in the Regulation of Organization and Functions (ROF) of the District Municipality of Puente Piedra, the Health Management develops various actions, activities and projects, in order to meet the institutional goals and objectives.
Mission
To direct, plan, organize, supervise and evaluate health services in Stone Bridge, guaranteeing access to quality primary health care through the implementation of public policies, prevention and care programs, and collaboration with health sector institutions.
Vision
To be leaders in the promotion of health and well-being of the inhabitants of Puente Piedra, standing out for the effectiveness in the management of health services, disease prevention and health education, as well as for the responsible care of animals, promoting a healthy and sustainable environment in the district of Stone Bridge.
Objectives
Direct and Plan Health Services: Develop and execute strategic plans that ensure the provision of accessible and quality health services for the population of Stone Bridge.
Promote Zoonosis Prevention: Design and implement educational campaigns on zoonosis prevention and responsible pet ownership, promoting public health and animal welfare.
Manage Primary Health Care: Ensure the implementation of primary health care programs that include preventive medicine, first aid and health education services.
Conduct Preventive Medicine Campaigns: Organize and implement periodic preventive medicine campaigns that address the main health needs of the community, increasing awareness and access to health services.
Promote Health Education: Develop health education programs that inform the population about healthy practices, disease prevention and responsible pet care.
