Strength of Love
Love has an extraordinary strength, capable of breaking through any obstacle and connecting hearts. Thus was born Strength of Love, the first book of the Traces of Love program, an initiative promoted by the Prevention Management of the District Municipality of Stone Bridge, through OMAPED, with the aim of making visible the deep bond between people with disabilities and their family caregivers, through art and literature.

This cardboard work gathers 20 real stories written by family caregivers, who participated in writing, literary creation and emotional expression workshops, as part of the OMAPED Little School accompaniment process. In its pages, they share from the depths of their hearts stories of love, sacrifice and hope that run through their daily lives.
In addition to these stories, there are original illustrations created by people with disabilities, who are also part of the program. Through their strokes, they offer us their view of the world, express emotions and claim their voice in a society that often makes them invisible.
Strength of Love has already been legally deposited in the National Library of Peru and represents a firm step towards building a more inclusive and empathetic community. Beyond its pages, this book is an invitation to reflect on the value of care, the strength of the family and the importance of recognizing each person as the protagonist of his or her own story.
Because when love guides our actions, there are no barriers that cannot be broken down.
